Ema Djordjevic, a senior opposite hitter and setter from Richard Montgomery HS, earned First Team honors for the second consecutive year. As a two-time First Team selection, Ema was dynamite for the Rockets, leading them to their second straight Maryland Class 4A Volleyball State Championship. Her dominance on the court and leadership were pivotal in the Rockets' incredible season. Following this stellar year, Ema has committed to continuing her volleyball journey at UMBC. Corinne Howard, a senior middle blocker who is also from Richard Montgomery HS, earned a well-deserved spot on the Second Team. Corinne's powerful presence at the net and ability to elevate her team's play were critical to their back-to-back high school state titles. She has committed to Howard University, where we know she will continue to shine. Way to go, Corinne!
The competition for All-Met honors spans the entire DMV area, making these selections a truly remarkable achievement. Ema and Corinne’s recognition is a testament to their talent, hard work, and dedication, as well as the strength of the MVSA program. Ema and Corinne will spend their last club season together on MVSA 18 Chaos.
